The Story Of This Blog
Harini is a name give to a group of three childhood friends who are now in their mid thirties. We are all working and career oriented women who live in Bangalore, India. About two years ago on fine weekend we met at one of our homes. After lunch and watching “Sleepless at Seattle” the nth time, we started talking about our plans for our future. Then, for the first time we came to know that all three of us were trying to get pregnant for over six months without any success. After further discussions and deliberations we decided to further pursue this objective by helping one another with whatever information we can get on methods to get pregnant “naturally.” All of us and our husbands have no major infertility problems.
Individually, we started gathering useful information. We talked to everywoman who was successful more than once in getting pregnant. Old women who have dozens of children (from the days of no family planning in India) gave us very useful advice on natural methods. We went to numerous temples and submitted our offerings to the deities. We went to the fakirs and got talismans tied to our wrists which were considered powerful. We tried law of attraction exercises, positive thinking, and ovulation kits, subscribed to numerous websites. We have read many books both in English and Indian languages on this subject.
We have also bought e-books to help us get pregnant. Most of them were helpful. Pregnancy Miracle was the most effective one. Now after almost two years the result of our endeavor is one of us has a three-month old baby, another one is three months pregnant and third person is one month pregnant. Last month we have decided to put all our experiences in a free blog (one of us is a regular blogger and writes for hubpages). We thought this may help other women who want to get pregnant.
The success whatever we had is mainly because we followed some simple exercises and daily routine and the fact that we and our husbands do not have any medical problems or infertility.
